Tastes Better if you use a Shaker Bottle
I noticed the previous reviewer's comment on the taste. While this is a healthy product, and will never taste like a milk shake, using a shaker bottle designed for protein shakes gets rid of the grittiness the previous reviewer noticed. It tastes like watered down chocolate milk when mixed properly. The positives about this product is only 90 calories per serving, and is all natural and doesn't contain the artificial flavors or colors that you find in other protein. powders.

I love this stuff!
I searched for months for a vegan gluten free protein mix and finally found this one. This is the ONLY one, out of the MANY I have tried, that I like. I mix it with almond milk and a halfway ripe banana (important that the banana isn't green because if it's not ripe enough it turns pasty when blended). Also add coconut sugar to sweeten sometimes but not needed.
I am soo happy I found this product! I just wasn't getting enough protein from my diet. Now that I have this everyday I am:)

The 'new formula' tastes terrible!
I have been using your original formula Raw Protein powder (Cacao Kiss) for YEARS almost every day. The taste of it was incredible and it mixed with water or almond milk like a dream. It wasn't necessary to add anything because the taste was enjoyable as is. I just bought your 'new & improved' formula and I almost spat it out! It is so much worse than the original. I don't know what prompted the change but I am incredibly sad that I cannot enjoy this new formula at all. I love the quality of the ingredients and I thought you had a perfect product with the original. Unfortunately I can no longer this product as I really can't bear the taste. It's that bad!

A Tolerable Dirt Drink
Whenever I drink my protein, I pretend I am drinking dirt so my expectations are kept realistic. This does not taste like a delicious chocolate milk but it is more like a very "rustic" swiss miss hot chocolate. Keeping this in mind, I still give it a four star review due to the tolerable nature. The texture isn't gritty or chalky and slides down my throat with some ice and non-diary milk mixed in. It has yet to make me bloat or have any bowel issues, and keeps me energized throughout and after my workouts. I will buy this protein product again and I will recommend it to a friend with the reminder that if you keep your expectations low, you will enjoy it.

I use this for breakfast.. 1 scoop of Garden of Life chocolate protein powder, 1 small Apple, 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, 1 table Organic Peanut Butter, dash of cinnamon, 1 cup of water, 3 ice cubes.. Blend in blender.. Tastes like a chocolate milkshake!!

Content & Marketing (high for ingredients -- I think, but low for the misrepresentation)
The contents of this product is very good (I appreciate the no sugar/stevia one), however, the marketing/advertising is very misleading.
We are led to believe that the original product has been improved to contain 22 grams of protein when in fact the company only made the spoon much larger ---- it is actually 1/3 of a cup of powder!
The container is also much larger than the previous one, however, it is only half full with a note that the package is 'sold by weight, not volume, settling may occur'. However, I doubt that settling accounts for half of the container.
I am beginning to wonder if the ingredients are as stated considering I can't trust what they say on the outside of the container. I'm starting to look around again.
