However after about 5 hours the slightest disturbance would wake me for the night. Now I get that extra boost of melatonin when I need it most due to the sustained release portion. What a joy it is to sleep 7 - 8 hours a night again. I don't ever want to run out of this product again -- it's a life saver!!

According to the directions, a person should only take it for a couple of weeks. Not sure how I will react after I go off of it in 2 weeks. I love the idea that it is a natural product.

It hits you rather fast and puts you to sleep. You then stay asleep because of the second layer extended release. I have taken other melatonin products and only slept few hours. This one gives me a solid 7 hours which is my perfect amount. Good product but expensive like most vitamin world brands.
